About

I'm Hannah. Writer. Reader. Dreamer. Believer.

I'm a 22 year old writer based in Middle of Nowhere, Indiana. I waste my time studying French, daydreaming, exploring libraries, procrastinating, reading too many books, drinking copious amounts of vanilla chai, and listening to the same songs over and over again. I've been creating stories in my head since before I could physically form the words on a page. I'm a creative, passionate person who values quality writing, storytelling, and connecting with others.

I find my solace and my inspiration through reading books in every shape and form. I don't discriminate between genres or formats. Anne Shirley and Kathleen Kelly are my kindred spirits. I read anything and everything.

Why I Blog

This blog is a culmination of my love for reading, and my passion for sharing stories that matter with others. I've had a passion for stories for as long as I can remember, and when I first started blogging many years ago, the internet became my outlet for that deep love I have for the written word and sharing it with others.

While this blog is technically categorized as a book blog, I'll also share stories from my personal life, and give updates on my writing. This is a space for reviews, recommendations, discussion, and reflections.

This is where I collect my stories. This is my place to document the things I love, the mountains of books I read, the places I go, and all the other thoughts in between that run through my brain.

I don't want to be perfect, I want to be real.

 A Literary Morning

Literary Morning is a blog for those who love books and how stories affect us. This is a cozy place where you can curl up with a warm mug of tea for discussion on all aspects of literature and the greater implications good (and sometimes bad) books can have on how we live our lives.

I don't write "Book Reviews" in the traditional sense. While I do evaluate the important aspects that make a book what it is: the writing, plot, characters, setting, etc, my reviews are reflections that focus more on the experience I had while reading the story and how it made me feel and think.

Reading is an extremely personal thing. No two people read a book the same way. We are all affected by stories in differently, and for me, that's the most important part of being a reader.

Here I share my unabridged, unaltered experiences reading books to help you determine if it's something that will touch you as well. There is no greater joy for me than when I can help someone else find a new favorite book that will stick with them forever. You can expect new posts on here every Friday morning!

I respond to every comment, so if you have any questions or words of advice to share, I'd love to hear from you! If you have an idea for a collab or a guest post, send me an email! Meeting and working with this beautiful community of bloggers is the best!
