Stardew Valley My husband has been encouraging me to try video games. I used to play a lot of sports, racing, and quest focused video games when I was younger, but I hadn't played any in a long time. Most of the games my husband plays are first person shooter and strategy games that I fail at, but he helped me download Stardew Valley, and I became obsessed. It's a fun, lighthearted farming game with so many different quests and achievements to unlock. We started a co-op game not too long ago, and it's been a great stress reliever!

Avatar: The Last Airbender This is a show I'm definitely going to need to rewatch several times to fully appreciate it as much as everyone else does, but after my first watch through, I can definitely understand the amount of hype that it gets. I grew so attached to the characters, and there were so many episodes I still think about.

The Bible Recap I've been reading through the Bible chronologically this year, and this short podcast has been a great companion as I read every morning. Each episode is only 7-8 minutes long, but it has helped me to comprehend the earlier books of the Bible that can be difficult to comprehend and get through. It's also helped me to think and analyse my reading more.

Stargate Atlantis An oldie but a goodie! This show is a big part of my childhood, so I made my husband watch the first couple seasons with me since he had never seen it and I wanted to see if it held up. I'm happy to say I still love this series! The special effects can be cheesy, but I believe this is the most sorely underrated sci-fi show ever.

Ambient Rooms Most people call these ASMR rooms, but I don't think it really qualifies as ASMR. In any case, I've been obsessed with these ambiences that have been created with different sounds. I love to put one on in the background while I'm reading to have some background noise since I can't physically go anywhere right now. My favorite channel for ambient rooms is Autumn Cozy.

Train to Buson This is one of the most insane movies I've ever seen! It's a Korean, character centric zombie film. While every other zombie movie I've watched has been focused on the action, this one was a refreshing take on the concept. It looks more at the characters, their different motivations and how selfish people can become when placed in a life or death situation. There's so much to take from this story! It's one I think about all the time, and is one I definitely want to rewatch soon!

Folklore - Taylor Swift Of course I couldn't make a favorites list without acknowledging that Taylor released a new album, and (surprise!) I adore it! I was very pleasantly surprised with this one, and it jumped to near the top of my ranking of Taylor Swift albums. Red will probably always be my favorite of her albums, and Folklore was so reminiscent of it. There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said by everyone else, but my personal favorite songs are: august, this is me trying, the 1, and mirrorball.

Noble Blood Another great podcast I've been pumping into my ears. Dark retellings of horrible things that have happened to (or caused by) various royals of history. Sometimes reality is harder to believe than fiction, and some of the stories that have been portrayed in Noble Blood definitely qualify. This is a podcast for anyone who is as obsessed with historical politics and relations between royal families. It's great!

Game of Thrones My husband and I binged the whole TV series in a matter of two weeks, and I became so invested. The politics and characters are so interesting, the world so vast, and the quality of the first 3 seasons are unlike anything I've watched before. I had heard the complaints about the last season, but I never imagined how bad it would be. My deep investment in the series by the end made the last season feel like even more of a betrayal. Nevertheless, I love the world so much and I'm currently reading the books in the hopes that whenever George R.R. Martin releases the ending, it'll be satisfying.

Hadestown I'm so behind on the hype trains, I know, but I've finally been able to listen to the Hadestown soundtrack. This is such a unique musical, and there are so many songs that tug on my heart. If I ever get the opportunity to see this performed live on a stage, I would take it in a heartbeat!

Fresh Garlic A strange thing to add to my list, but I absolutely love garlic! Since living and cooking in my own apartment, I've been able to incorporate more fresh garlic (not just garlic powder) in meals, and it truly does make everything taste a million times better!

    1. Game of Thrones is amazing! The show is A LOT more graphic than the books, but if that doesn't bother you I hope you'll check it out!
